Learning From Failure

Today, while having a talk with one of my friend ; he made me to think where have I reached in the race of life.  When I looked back at my fellow companions who started the race with me, I was shocked as there was no one behind. They all have crossed the finis line.

It is not that I am envious of the success of my comrades. But I am dejected and surprised as I was running in the wrong direction. I started the race with full zeal and enthusiasm, was well prepared for the fierce competition and was way ahead of others till midway. At first I failed to find the reason which made me to digress from the finish line.

As the race was over, there was no use of running. So I stopped to think the reason of my failure. When I ponder upon I realised my mistake. I cannot blame my coach or any other person for my debacle. With much brainstorming i came to the conclusion that whole fault is mine.

All my friends went to their home happily with medals on their necks. But I did not loose heart. A great man has said that life is all about opportunities. This time I will prepare more. I have decided to change my event. I will take part in a more difficult race. A medal in any event is of equal value. This race is tough but I will not stop before the finish line.

  3. Sometimes God has to break us to make us. It's just a bend, it's not the end. We're all like glow sticks, no matter how much we're bent and broken our light still shines.................
